Project Airstrike

Project Airstrike takes a no-frills 2023 Ford F-150 XL work truck and turns it into a real-world performance testbed, showing how modern full-size pickups can deliver serious power without losing their everyday utility. Built in partnership with House of Boost, the project starts with baseline dyno and track testing before layering in a ProCharger Stage 2 system centered around the P-1X supercharger, upgraded fueling, and progressive boost levels to document exactly how power, traction, and durability evolve. Rather than jumping straight to extreme hardware, the build follows a phased approach that explores the limits of the factory Coyote 5.0-liter, four-wheel-drive driveline, and chassis, before moving into E85 capability, traction and driveline upgrades, larger supercharger options, and eventually a fully built engine. Along the way, Project Airstrike aims to prove that a sleeper work truck can rip at the track, shine on the dyno, and highlight the viability of a centrifugal supercharger in the modern truck performance market, with comprehensive coverage documenting every step of the transformation.
