When it comes to customizing Mustangs, we’ve seen some pretty far out ideas. After all, the Mustang is a popular car with a plethora of fans and entire shows dedicated to this single automobile. So standing out? That can be hard. Yet human beings have shown a remarkable capacity for creativity, though it sometimes takes the oddest forms.

Take for example the Mustang pictured above. Originally posted to the “front page” of the Internet, reddit.com (which has a whole sub-forum dedicated to Mustangs), this customized pony car apparently belongs to a plumber with a sense of humor.

It’s quite clear that this was an amateur job, as not many shops would undertake the challenge of affixing a whole bunch of PVC piping to the exterior of a customer’s car. There is precious little info available on this car, and we’re not sure why a plumber would choose a Mustang over something more practical like, you know, a van.

But the plumber definitely made sure the world knew that this Mustang belongs to a man of the pipe. It appears to be nothing but a lowly Mustang V6, so it isn’t something to even get upset over…but it is odd, don’t you think? You just don’t see cars decorated with PVC piping much these days.

Still, we’re willing to bet there are even wackier Mustang rides out there, though this Mustang is certainly up there.
