Everybody wants to win a free car, especially if that free car is a Ford Mustang. Contests and charities worldwide often feature Mustangs as the grand prize precisely because they’re so popular, though it is often just one car up for grabs with thousands of entries to be had. Your chances of actually winning are so remotely small that it almost isn’t worth it.
But Bristol Motor Speedway is stacking the odds in contestants favor with a grand prize giveaway that includes 10 customized Mustangs worth a combined total of $250,000. The Seymour Herald reports that these ten Mustangs will be given away at the Food City 500 on March 17th, and all you have to do to win is buy a ticket to the race; it’s just that simple.
Located in Bristol, Kentucky, the Bristol Motor Speedway hosts all manner of races, including the annual Food City 500, which is a 500-lap race covering 266.5 miles. Everybody who buys tickets to this event is automatically entered to win one of the 10 Mustangs Bristol is giving away to promote the track. It really doesn’t get any easier than that.
Judging from the cash value of the prizes, we’re going to go out on a limb and assume that these are Mustang V6 vehicles, rather than the more-expensive GT models. Still, a free Mustang is a free Mustang, and with 305 horsepower, those V6 models are nothing to sneeze at. If you’re close enough to make the race, March 17th is the magic date, so make sure you get yourself to Bristol for a good chance to win a new Mustang.
