Picking the color of your Mustang isn’t ever easy. Do you go with something obviously badass, like black? Do you embrace a more radical color, like School Bus Yellow or Grabber Blue? Or do you go for something completely custom? Because at the end of the day, Ford is selling those stock colors thousands of times over. If you really want a paint job that sticks out, custom is the only way to go.
Up on eBay right now is a custom-painted 2013 Mustang GT that has a few performance goodies thrown in for good measure. But make no mistake, this $92,000 (!!) Mustang is all about the custom paint, bro.
Fitted with a Ford Racing supercharger that bumps horsepower to 525 ponies, this Mustang has also been graced with a complete suspension package from Ford Racing as well. Boss 302 wheels, Pirelli rubber, and an upgraded exhaust system all mean more power, better handling, and more fun behind the wheel.
But this car isn’t just about fun; it is about standing out from the crowd. The custom “Rattlesnake” paint job is reminiscent of the “Mystic” paint available on the 1996 Mustang Cobras, in that it changes color depending on what angle you view it from.
Sometimes its green, sometimes its gold, sometimes its a dark, almost blackish-purple. It is a very fancy paint job to be sure, and you’ll be hard to ignore in this ride. The supercharger and suspension upgrades will ensure you won’t be left behind either.
But for the price of over $92,000, we’re not sure this Mustang stands out enough. Does this awesome paint job justify the nearly six-figure price tag?
