Hollywood is full of fame-seekers and crazy people. We’ve seen a few documentaries on the many street performers who line Hollywood Boulevard, and suffice to say, these people are a special brand of crazy. Many dress as their favorite superheroes and work for tips taking pictures with tourists. Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman are always out in force. But what about our favorite Transformers?

It may seem like a tall order, but one enterprising performer has undertaken a Mustang transformers costume in this video found by CarScoop.

Dressing as a Transformer poses some serious costume issues. The most glaring problem is one of transforming a Transformer. This performer seems to have figured out the trick, and then some. Hell, the suit is even mobile, and he springs up and out into combat mode just as you might expect a Mustang transformer to do. The front wheels appear to be strapped to his left arm, and the rear wheels attached to each leg. The front wheels then become something of a fake wheel/gatling gun. Very neat!

Thought the video claims this is Optimus Prime, leader of the AutoBots, we know better. In fact, there has been only one Mustang to date in the rebooted Transformer movies, and that would be Barricade, a police Mustang. This is not Barricade, though it is a badass costume. We wonder how long such a piece took to put together, and if Michael Bay is ramping up a copyright infringement lawsuit.
