We live in an era of unprecedented performance, with factory supercars that are capable of levels of performance once reserved for purpose-built race cars. It isn’t just cars that have been taken to an almost racing level from the factory floor. The Ford F-150 SVT Raptor is more than capable of tackling most off-road challenges right from the dealership…and as it turns out, the Raptor has a charitable side too.

Roush Fenway Racing NASCAR driver Greg Biffle is competing to build the best truck for charity against Toyota driver Clint Bowyer. Naturally, Biffle started out with the best performance truck on the market today, the F-150 SVT Raptor. Autoblog reports that whomever’s truck sells for the most money (all of which goes to charity) will be declared the winner of the Sherwin-Williams Planet Color All-Star Custom Challenge.

Biffle is going big with the Raptor, adding a TVS 2300 supercharger to the 6.2 liter V8 engine. Combined with a performance exhaust system and tuning software, this Raptor should be good for at least 525 horsepower. Add to that custom 18-inch wheels with huge 35-inch BF Goodrich tires, and you’ve got a capable off-roader with even better straight-line performance.

This custom Raptor will hit the auction block in September at at Barrett-Jackson’s annual Las Vegas event. Bowyer’s custom Toyota Tundra already sold for a cool $100,000, so Biffle has his work cut out for him. The money will go to the Emporia Community Foundation. That said, the Tundra ain’t no Raptor, no matter how aftermarket you go with it. Our money is on the Roush/Biffle Raptor, hands down.

The only question then is, how bad will it beat Bowyer’s Tundra?
