Video: How To Properly Measure Wheel Backspacing With Weld Wheels

The video covers the proper way to measure backspacing whether a wheel currently has a tire mounted or not, as well as proper methods for measuring with both a standard style ruler, or a tape measure.

One of the interesting points made in the video is regarding the straight edge needed to run across the back of the wheel. As is pointed out in the video, the straight edge must run across the wheel lip, not the bead area. If a tire is mounted, the straight edge will need to be cut in a manner that allows it to sit on the lip to get the proper measurement.
