A new Mustang model was introduced in 1969, the Ford Mustang Mach 1. It was available with one of the larger Ford engines, a 351 5.8-liter and was putting down 250 hp or an optional 290 hp. Check out this old commercial starring the then brand new 1969 Mach 1.
