We received a press release from Performance Motorsports Incorporated (PMI) announcing that the PMI group of companies was forming a technical alliance with Roush Yates Engines. PMI has already developed a strong information and technology sharing network with all the companies that fall under the umbrella of the parent company. JE Pistons, SRP Pistons, Wiseco, K1 technologies and Innovate Motorsports are some of the brands that partner together under the PMI banner. This style of information and technology sharing stands to benefit both parties in the recently formed alliance .
A private party announcing the alliance was held at Howl at the Moon in Orlando, Florida, immediately following the PRI trade show on Friday, December 10th. We managed to get some exclusive photos of the affair with all the luminaries from the automotive world celebrating the announcement. We saw Scott Bloomquist and Chris Madden in one corner, Robert and Doug Yates mingling in the crowd and just about every aftermarket automotive manufacturing company represented by one or more dignitaries.
For more information on the alliance, see the press release below. For more on the after hours party announcing the alliance, check out the photo gallery at the bottom.
