Another SEMA Show is in the books and what an exciting week it was for Ford enthusiasts in 2018. The Blue Oval took home three different vehicle of the year awards, one of which was our beloved Ford Mustang. So it came as no surprise the impressive array of modded Mustangs that were on display at the annual event.
In this episode of Hot Lap, AmericanMuscle’s Stephanie Wood takes in all the sights and sounds at this year’s SEMA Show and gives us her pics of the top 3 Mustangs that were on display. And if you happened to be at this year’s show, you know that this was no easy task.
SEMA is basically a whirlwind. It’s exciting to not only see all the builds, but you also get a sense of what is possible with the Mustang. – Stephanie Wood, AmericanMuscle
But before Stephanie was able to find her top 3 picks she first had to navigate through the impressive Ford Out Front display that took center stage right outside the Las Vegas Convention Center. Ford brought out the big guns this year with aftermarket companies like ROUSH Performance and RTR Vehicles debuting some of the hottest new products available for 2019.
“SEMA is basically a whirlwind,” said Stephanie. “It’s exciting to not only to see all the builds, but you also get a sense of what is possible with the Mustang.”
After spending some quality time checking out everything that Ford had on display, it was finally time for Stephanie to pick her top three. Stephanie picked the 2018 Bojix Design Mustang GT for her first pick. The custom Mustang featured a ton of upgrades including a ProCharger Stage 2 supercharger, and a full list of suspension upgrades from Ford Performance.
“Seeing this car online in the pictures and seeing it in person are two totally different things,” Stephanie pointed out. “I love the way it sits and I love what is under the hood.”
