If you’ve ever wanted a positive-displacment supercharger for your 2011-2014 V6 Mustang, you may be in luck. The folks at Morona Racing have just unveiled their design for placing a Shelby GT500 supercharger atop the 3.7-liter Ford in their Mustang. With a prototype system running around and causing havoc, you may soon be able to get your own.
In case you missed it in the video, people have, apparently, been waiting a long time for something like this and the video’s subject couldn’t wait to see what would happen.
The video then includes smartphone footage of the folks at Morona Racing showing off their supercharged 3.7-liter V6 Mustang. It’s pretty impressive stuff. The engine just looks good with that supercharger sitting on top. After a little walk-around, the host starts it up and you get to see and hear it running The belts are really tight, but Morana made it work.
The owner of the 3.7 Mustang in the video above sure seems excited about the potential of this new supercharger option. Would you install a GT500 blower on your V6 ’Stang? It sounds like fun to us. For more on these systems and other V6 Mustang gear, check out the company’s official site here.
