Turn 10 studios is about to release their August car pack for Forza 4 players. Those interested in playing have a nice surprise in store with ten new vehicles available. Two domestic muscle cars will be introduced to the pack in the form of the Ford Mustang Boss 302 and the Chevy Camaro ZL1. As much as we’d pick the Boss over the Camaro, both are better options compared to some of the vehicles already available, unless you want to race that Jeep Rubicon.
The Boss 302 should be a huge hit among fans considering it was pretty much born for the track…just ask Parnelli Jones. The ’13 Boss is a throwback from the ’70 version sporting the hockey stick stripes complete with a center stripe. It also has 444 horses stomping out of a 5.0-L V8 engine. The new Boss is very similar to last year’s model despite a few minor cosmetic changes. Of course, it has the new ’13 LED tails seen on all 2013 ‘Stang models. Other cosmetic changes include a new front splitter and functional heat extractors. Not only are the two rear wheel drive pony cars entering the game, the Scion FR-S, Hyundai Genesis Coupe, and the ’13 Lexus GS350 F Sport are also making a debut. Not too shabby for some lightweight performance vehicles.
Not only are there going to be five modern high-performance vehicles, a few older model cars are making their appearance too. That includes a ’62 Lincoln Continental, a Triumph TR3B, an ’84 Peugeot 205 T16, ’89 Mercedes Benz #63 Sauber-Mercedes Racing 69 for the Le Mans fans, and an ’03 Aston Martin DB7 Zagato supercar. The spectrum is wide but there’s a wide variety of performance to choose from. These mentioned will be available on the Xbox Live Marketplace on August 7th. Check out the trailer!
