For decades, Kenny Brown has been the go-to guy for Mustang performance and his laundry list of accomplishments, innovative designs and superior products continue to lead in the aftermarket industry. With a long race and performance history, Brown knows what it takes to make your Mustang perform like a dream and it shows in his innovative offerings, like the AGS GT4 suspension system. You’ve seen all the videos highlighting this top-of-the-line Mustang suspension system but now you can experience all it’s benefits for yourself in the ride-along video from Sebring above.
Back in late May, Brown was invited to Sebring International Raceway for a bit of testing fun in his GT-4 RS Coyote Mustang named Ruby, and of course being the performance guru he is, Brown couldn’t say no. Equipped with Brown’s own AGS 4.0 GT-4 suspension and KB front brake cooling ducts, plus Baer Extreme+ 6-piston calipers, Hawk racing pads, adjustable JRZ struts and shocks, and Forgeline GA1R wheels wrapped in Pirelli PZero Corsa rubber, Ruby is set up for proper track thrashing.
Although Brown hadn’t driven Sebring in some time (the bumps in the first and last turns were a bit more brutal than he remembered), Ruby performed immaculately.
Perfect for testing thanks to long straight-aways, fast and slow turns, transitions and bumps, Sebring is a challenge for even the most experienced of drivers and high-performance vehicles. But with her setup, Ruby didn’t seem phased. Brown was able to brake later in the corners, accelerate sooner and carve the course better than other cars at the testing event, including a Porsche that flew up on Ruby in the straight, but struggled to maintain its lead in the corners with Brown only holding Ruby back because of a no-passing rule.
Ruby’s handling and braking capabilities impressed many onlookers and riders, proving that it wasn’t just Brown’s experience with Ruby at Sebring that was amazing. The video above captures some of that, showing Ruby’s incredible handling capabilities.
Like what you see? Well you can actually experience it for yourself this weekend at Road America as Brown hits the historic race track July 27th through the 29th with the Northwoods Shelby Club. Brown will be giving some charity rides at the event in Ruby, so don’t miss your chance to experience true Mustang performance at its best. If you’re interested in a ride, contact Cari Brown at the track to get your name on the list.
