What does power sound like? Does power sound like a speech given by one man but enthralling millions? Does power sound like a Saturn rocket hurling three men towards the moon, and destiny? Or does power have a more subtle sound, like the nearly imperceptible noise or the Earth’s tectonic plates grinding against each other?
While that is all well and good, if you ask us power has just one sound, and it comes from the engine of the Ford Mustang. ROUSH Performance just put out this video of its Stage 3, Phase 3 ROUSH Mustang from the SEMA show pulling some high-speed runs, and if you ask us, this is the sound of true power.
For those not in the know, ROUSH came to SEMA fully prepared to wow crowds with their latest and greatest take on the Ford Mustang. Thanks to a ROUSHcharger system and Ford’s awesome 5.0, it was a cinch for ROUSH to crank out 700 horsepower from their RS3 Mustang. Just to help it stick out from the crowd, ROUSH gave their RS3 Mustang a lovely lime paint job.
But enough of us yammering on. This video is all about the whine and roar of a supercharged Mustang, and that is all you’ll get to hear in this 30-second clip. But for us, that sweet, sweet sound is a symphony of horsepower, orchestrated by a complicated composer known as ROUSH. We could listen to that song all day. Oh, and as an added bonus, ROUSH just released a remix video with a holiday twist. Watch it below, and enjoy!
