The aftermarket has responded in a really impressive way to Ford’s latest efforts with the Mustang. The Coyote 5.0 engine has quickly become one of the most popular motors for aftermarket parts makers, among them Indiana-based Brenspeed, a noted distributor of Roush parts.
Brenspeed recently uploaded this video demonstrating the real-world power of their 650 horsepower Roush Supercharger package.
Brenspeed calls this kit the “Corvette Killer”, and with good reason. This kit will fit any stock 2011-2013 Mustang, and includes any and everything you need. The long parts list features a Roush R2300 TVS supercharger, lower and upper intake manifolds, a high-flow fuel rail with 47-lb injectors, twin 60mm throttle bodies, and a high-capacity air-to-water intercooler system.
It really is the “complete” package, and on the dyno Brenspeed made two back-to-back runs to prove it. On the first run the supercharged Mustang put down 566 horsepower to the wheels. On the second run a whopping 576 horsepower. That’s even better than expected. For $6,700, you can have a Corvette-killing Mustang. What more could you ask for?
