For the uninitiated, the Shelby GT500CR is an officially licensed Shelby Mustang, built by Classic Recreations. Under the hood is a fuel-injected, 427 cubic-inch V8 with a ProCharger strapped to it, producing a stump-pulling 790 horsepower. Backing the big-block is a Tremec six-speed manual transmission.
The promotional video above looks like it would have been a blast to make (save for an apparent pull-over by the po-po). It’s really just the Shelby GT500R 900S burning out, driving fast, and power sliding all over the place. It’s the kind of video that makes us want to refinance our house just to buy one. Did this video do the job for you too?
