Installing pistons is so much easier if you have the proper equipment and that’s why Automotive Racing Products (ARP) has just released 18 more piston ring compressor bore sizes to their lineup. Just like the other ring compressors ARP offers, these 18 new compressors are CNC machined from 6061-T6 billet material and feature Type 3 anodizing for better durability, giving you the best option for your engine build.
Official Release:
ARP ADDS 18 NEW RING COMPRESSORS
Automotive Racing Products, Inc. has added 18 new bore sizes to its line of tapered ring compressors, bringing the total to 119. These include 77 SAE sizes that range from 3.552″ to 4.750″ and 42 Metric models from 75mm to 95.5 mm.
ARP’s ring compressors are CNC machined from 6061-T6 billet material and feature a true radius to compliment each individual bore size. This serves to efficiently compress the piston rings as the piston assembly is pushed into the cylinder. The compressors feature an O-ring relief, which allows it to seat squarely on blocks with or without O-rings.
Durability is enhanced through Type 3 anodizing, assuring a long service life, and the bore size is prominently engraved on ARP compressors in 3/4″ tall numbers for easy identification.
With all of these features ARP ring compressors have become a favorite of many leading engine builders the world over. For a complete run-down of all available sizes for 2012 see New Products section of the company website, www.arp-bolts.com, or call the ARP tech line at 800-826-3045.
