Brought to us from Bring A Trailer, this special roadster boasts some favorable upgrades from the ERA factory. For starters, this Cobra is powered by the Blue Oval’s legendary 428ci Super Cobra Jet V8 engine. Behind that massive, 7.0-liter engine is a Tremec T5 five-speed manual transmission, whilst power is sent to a Jaguar independent rear suspension.

Moreover, the Cobra features the #620 chassis number, which implies it was indeed built at ERA’s New Britain, Connecticut, headquarters. Additional upgrades include four-wheel disc brakes, a 650-cfm Holley carburetor, ceramic-coated long-tube headers, Spax adjustable coilovers, and a set of 15-inch Trigo wheels.

It might be hard to tell from the pictures, but make no mistake that this ERA Cobra is a no-expenses-spared deal. From clear protection on the rear fenders used to minimize chips from road debris to a completely MIG-welded and powdercoated chassis, this ’65 Cobra replica is well put together.
