If you live in the United States and have been to your local Walmart, Autozone, or Pep Boys within the last decade, then you’ll undoubtedly know exactly who Mothers is and what they do. If you don’t, we’ll say it for those of you in the back – Mothers has been a family-owned and operated company built on supplying enthusiasts with car care and cleaning products since the mid ’70s, and they haven’t stopped providing those products since.
What started out as a small business with goals of offering simple metal polishes and compounds, ever so linearly blossomed into a name which now supplies virtually any car care product you can imagine. At this year’s SEMA Show, we had the opportunity to review Mothers’ arsenal of new products on display, and talk about that classic Chevy panel cruiser in its booth.
“In addition to our Speed Line which we launched last year, we’ve introduced our new Speed foaming bug and tar remover,” said Jim D. of Mothers. “The incapsulating and penetrating foam helps to remove bug, tar, and bird fecal residue from your vehicle.”
Jim said to enhance the power of its polishes, the company’s all-new Power Ball line of precision polishers can be used for polishing metal, and will be available post-SEMA. Naturally, Mothers offers enthusiasts more than what was on display at this year’s show, so with that said, we employ you to visit the company’s website for more information here.
