Ford is always a big player at the annual SEMA show, and this year is no exception. They recently released details on three of the cars that will make up the Ford Dreamcase at this year’s show in Las Vegas, and we thought we’d take a look.
Yellow Jacket
The Yellow Jacket Mustang has been all the rage all over the internet lately. Built by Vortech Superchargers and Neil Tjin, this Mustang packs a Vortech V3 YSi supercharger, which turns the volume up on the Coyote engine to 605 hp and 473 ft-lbs of torque. A 3dCarbon body kit, custom DuPont paint and TruFiber cabron fiber accents will help round at the look. Rolling stock is provided by iForged Icon three-piece wheels, 20×9 front and 20×11 rear. Baer brakes, and a Road and Track Box from Maximum Motorsports will help this one handle any driving situation.
Hollywood Hot Rods Mustang Convertible
Take a look at this hot convertible from Hollywood Hot Rods featuring a hand formed, removable roof. According to Hollywood Hot Rods, the aluminum roof took over 250 hours to form. The car has also had significant work done to reshape the rear of the car without messing up the Mustang DNA. There’s a custom hood, front splitter, and more, all crafted from aluminum.
Power comes from a Ford Racing Whipple Supercharged Coyote engine, cranking out 750 hp with the help of a Banks Straight-Shot water/methanol system. Cortex racing provides the suspension system. A custom interior and we’re sure loads of other custom work take this Mustang to Supercar status.
Nitto Race Red
Nitto Tire is known throughout the performance community, and is bringing this red hot Mustang to SEMA. This one also features a 3dCarbon body kit, to go along with it’s custom Onyx Red paint and Jet Black racing stripes. Classic Design Concepts provided the grille, and Wilwood calipers match the exterior paint job. The Coyote engine has received minor upgrades in the induction department, and a custom tune from Tune Logistics. Of course there’s also Nitto NT05 Max tires, wrapped around some Niche Plus A220 wheels to keep it glued to the road.
We’ll be on hand at the SEMA show, happening the first week of November, and we’ll bring you all the hot rides, and coolest new parts as we scout them out throughout the week.
