ProTorque Drivers Win Big At No Mercy And NMRA World Finals

ProTorque torque converters recently flooded the top spots of several prominent races across the United States with racers using their products. All of these teams worked hard to earn number one qualifying spots, event wins, and series championships. This level of success for ProTorque customers reflects the company’s core belief of pushing the envelope to develop winning packages for all forms of drag racing.

The recent No Mercy 9 was packed with impressive performances from ProTorque racers in all of the heads-up classes. In Limited Drag Radial Daniel Pharris was able to secure the top qualifying spot on his way to a runner-up finish, while in X275 Shane Fisher was able to do the same. ProTorque racers Don Lamana in Pro 275, and Rodney Ragen in Ultra Street were able to earn the number one qualifying positions while going on to pick up the class victory.

The NMRA All-Ford World Finals was another horsepower-filled battleground where ProTorque racers earned wins. In the Renegade class event runner-up and number one qualifier Tony Hobson had a ProTorque converter onboard, along with 2018 world champion in the class, Frank Varela. The Coyote Modified event runner-up and world champion Haley James was using a ProTorque converter at the World Finals to put the power down in her Mustang. Justin Jordan secured the Turbo Coyote Shootout victory at the NMRA All-Ford World Finals, also with a ProTorque unit in his car.

Joe Rivera from ProTorque explains how the company looks at racing and how it drives product development for their racers.

“My philosophy has always been that competition breeds success for the end user. Nearly a decade after the initial development of the Revolution Series of torque converters it’s still pretty clear that this converter is top of the class when it comes to being competitive, and Team ProTorque has proven itself to be successful.”

Head over to ProTorque’s website to see how their converters can help put you in the winner’s circle on race day.
