It is nearly the start of car show season, and that means Goodguys is gearing up once again to bring their nationwide tour of awesome shows to fans across the USA. Goodguys always has a way of honoring vehicles on special occasions, and this year is no different. Helping to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Mustang, Goodguys will offer a special 50th anniversary award for one Mustang parked in the Mighty Muscle parking area on Saturdays.

As the name implies, Mighty Muscle is a special area for displaying muscle cars from the big three, there will be plenty of horsepower on tap in this parking lot. This special parking area is open from 7am until noon on Saturday at all 2014 Goodguys events. Only Mustangs parked in this area will be eligible for the 50th anniversary award.

Goodguys has a slew of special parking areas for all of their events, all of these areas are open from 7-12 on Saturdays, and these areas also offer dash plaques, and special awards to certain vehicles. The Mighty Muscle area for this year will also honor Chevelles and GTOs in addition to Mustangs.

Goodguys will be holding 19 events nationwide this year. For a complete schedule check out the Goodguys web-site. If you have a cool Mustang, and are planning to attend a Goodguys event this year, get there early on Saturday and plan on parking in the Mighty Muscle section. You never know, you might go home with a special award.
