Next week the 2015 Ford Mustang will make its Hollywood debut in the Need For Speed movie, which hits theaters nationwide March 14th. A week ahead of the nationwide premiere though, all the stars and big names behind the film came out for a private screening of the finished product. And you can bet the 2015 Mustang was on hand, as well as the Shelby GT500 star car custom built for this movie.
This video interviews some of the stars on their favorite scenes from the new action movie, and their thoughts on the all-new 2015 Mustang.
Director Steve Waugh was on hand to remind everyone that there was no CGI used in the making of this movie, meaning all the stunts are for realsies. This includes a 170-foot jump with a Mustang, which still managed to drive away. We’re not sure how they pulled that one off, but it sounds like an important plot point to the movie for sure.
In addition to the director and some of the actors like Aaron Paul, pro skateboarder Tony Hawk was also on hand, talking about vivid memories of his mom buying a Mustang when he was a kid. It seems like everybody has a Mustang story, and the next generation of the Ford pony car is ready to keep the tradition alive for the next wave of Mustang enthusiasts.
