Social media has brought about all kinds of trends and one of the most prevalent or recent note is the selfie. You know the selfie, stand by yourself, or with your friends, or wherever and snap a quick photo. There’s all kinds of them, some are scandalous, and most are downright annoying LateModelRestoration is out to give Mustang fans a new take on the selfie.

Launching today and running until 11:00 am August 6 is the LateModelRestoration #STANGSELFIE contest. Fans are encouraged to follow LateModelRestoration on Twitter and Instagram and upload their selfies with the hashtag #STANGSELFIE. Get creative, have fun, and put a new twist on the selfie craze.

LateModelRestoration asked us to help get the ball rolling by showing off a few of our staff members with their Stangs in our own Stang Selfies. We managed to get contributors Amie Williams, Stephanie Davies, and Bridgett Davis to send us some shots, along with our resident office selfie expert and the glue that holds our sales department together, Kelli Cascioppo. Those gals should make up for the mugs of Editor Creason and Tech Editor Jason Reiss that we stashed at the end of the article.

LateModelRestoration will be looking at all of these and selecting winners everyday for some great prizes. Those prizes include gift cards, windshield banners, T-shirts and more. There will also be a grand prize winner announced at the end of the contest. That lucky STANGSELFIE snapper will net a $100 gift card to LateModelRestoration.

Remember you have to post your photo to Instagram or Twitter with the hashtag #STANGSELFIE, and you have to follow the LateModelResto Twitter or Instagram account (depending on where you’re posting) in order to be considered for prizes.
