Earlier this year, ProCharger put out a challenge to their customers, dealers and enthusiasts to make a video depicting their ProCharger story. After many videos came in, votes were tabulated and the winners picked. But they weren’t picked by ProCharger. Instead, they were picked by the video submitters’ peers.
The ProCharger Video Challenge gave anyone in the ProCharger community the opportunity to show their supercharger company what having a ProCharger was all about to them. After a panel of judges picked the top ten videos from those submitted for the Challenge, it was up to those who’s videos were chosen to publicize their videos and get the votes to determine their placement.
The competition was tight, but one video prevailed in the long run- a video depicting images of a ProCharger system being put on a 2002 Mustang GT with the underlying theme “Built, not bought.” Worthy of the $5,000 prize it received, the video shows the build from pulling the ProCharger system out of the package, to the first start up, and even at the drag strip winning races against a fellow Mustang.
The other top five videos were notable as well, with the second place winner showing off his ProCharger-equipped GTO. Third place went to an individual with a ProCharger-equipped truck with a more country feel, while fourth went to a video of a Trail Blazer SS doing donuts behind an industrial building. The fifth place winner took a different approach to the Challenge, putting on a skit reminiscent of old-time car movies.
Although in different ways, each video shows the “ProCharger story” quite well. If you’re looking for some quality entertainment, check out the videos of the top five finishers of the ProCharger Video Challenge. What better way to finish off the work day than with some supercharger-inspired videos?
