Accidents have been happening ever since the car was first introduced. However, technology has been getting much better helping people survive these serious accidents. There probably hasn’t been a safer time to drive in America. On a different note, some of these cars are capable of reaching high top speeds within seconds. Those who have never experienced an accident or a minor fender bender sometimes think that they are invincible and that these things happen to everyone except themselves. Fatalities still happen all of the time, although, a lot of people do luck out during some of these serious accidents. Here are some recent stories of luck.
We brought you the Shelby GT500 that disintegrated after a woman tried taking an off ramp at a high rate of speed and hit the embankment causing her engine to fly out and hit another unsuspecting vehicle. Miraculously the woman survived the carnage of the coupe turned convertible.

The Mustang driver suffered some serious injuries to her arms and legs and is lucky to be alive. An eight year old kid was in the truck that was struck and was able to walk away unharmed.
Here’s another accident involving a Mustang and a semi truck in New Orleans, Louisiana. This new Mustang gets pinned up against the barricade wall while trying to merge off of an exit along with the truck and this one definitely won’t buff out. The woman driver was airlifted with serious injuries, however, all occupants including a 12 year old boy riding in the Mustang survived. The truck driver walked away unharmed as well. The people involved in these stories survived, but a lot of people aren’t as lucky when involved in an accident of this caliber.
