Social Media is here to stay, at least until the next big thing comes along. Companies large and small are using it to make better connections with their customers. Offering everything from entertaining videos, to secret coupon codes, and just updates on weekly specials, social media gives businesses a connection to customers unlike any other form of advertising available before it.

Anderson Ford Motorsport has been a player in the late model Mustang game since the early 1990’s. Building and tuning championship winning race cars, as well as plenty of mean street machines, Anderson has proven themselves to the Mustang faithful.

Looking to improve their connections to their customers further, Anderson has, like so many other performance companies, a Facebook page. Here you’ll find information on popular items, or when limited quantity items are back in stock like the Programmable Management System (PMS) something Anderson is well known for. They’ve also posted some cool videos and pictures of customer rides in and out of the shop.

Perhaps of greatest interest to most of us though are the weekly specials offered by Anderson, and announced on their Facebook page. Liking the page, and checking it out on a regular basis will let you know if and when the parts you need or want go on special.

On special this week are Anderson’s own ’86-’93 Mustang Big Tube, unequal length shorty headers. These were developed and tested by Anderson to meet with the demands of modern pushrod engine enthusiasts running higher flowing heads, and bigger displacement engines, that need more exhaust flow. The headers feature 1.75-inch tubes, and the thick flanges will accept up to a Fel-Pro 1487 header gasket. They offer power gains above 4,000 RPM, with no loss in torque or horsepower below 2,400 RPM.
