It’s Mustang Girl Monday brought to you by Team Mustang Girls. This week we would like to introduce Mary Gnecco and both her 2011 Roush Sport and 2006 Mustang GT.

She started looking for a new daily driver with the help of her boyfriend. Not only did it have to be a Mustang, but after driving Jack on a regular basis she knew it had to be a GT. She found her 2006 and shortly after, her future mother-in-law was told she had Stage four breast cancer, after being in remission for 3 years. Right around the same time her previous sister-in-law and cousin who were both diagnosed with breast cancer were finishing up their treatments.
That’s when she decided to turn her 2006 GT into a support vehicle for breast cancer awareness. “Breast cancer, and all cancer are very scary. It’s horrible to see it’s effects on someone you love.” Mary named the car Anastasia after her mother-in-law and started her pink transformation. She and her boyfriend did all the mods including wheels, tires, shaker hood, and the graphics themselves. They plan on changing out the dash next to add another splash of pink for the cause. All of Mary’s friends laugh at her response when they ask her what she wants for birthdays or holidays. It’s always the same answer, car parts! And we don’t think that’ll be changing anytime soon!
