Danielle’s first memory of the Mustang was at the age of five when the new edge Mustangs came out. Danielle thought it was the coolest looking car and started planning for her first Mustang. The electric green was her favortie and she would get excited everytime a Mustang drove by. As the years went on, she saw them everywhere, getting louder and faster. “I didn’t grow up around the car scene like others did so it was just exciting to me when I would see a Mustang”. Her dad actually had a ’69 Camaro RS which made her love for the Mustang even more unique.

In late ’04 when the S197 came out Danielle’s father joined the Mustang world. It was the first black GT on the streets in California. “I was so excited that we finally owned one. I thought I was the cool kid getting dropped off in a badass Mustang”. Danielle started driving in ’08 and was lucky enough to learn on the GT.

Danielle had hopes that the Mustang was going to be hers but at the age of 15 with a permit her parents knew that it wasn’t safe. She tried to convince her parents to go with a new edge but it wasn’t the right time so her first car was a 2002 Denali XL. It was the family car and even though it wasn’t a Mustang Danielle was still excited because she could fit all her friends in it. After graduating in 2011 Danielle traded the Denali for a 2000 GMC Sierra. Luckily her Dad liked it too because Danielle started her first job at a gun shop and was able to save some money and on February 16th, 2012 she got her first Mustang!  “I had a vision for it and I made it come to life within 2 years”.

Getting her dream car brought Danielle’s love for the Mustang to a whole new level. She even got her first tattoo of the running pony on her foot. Each time she added an upgrade she would fall in love all over again. Since then Danielle has met so many awesome Mustang people from forums and Facebook groups and knows some will be life long friends. “I didn’t think I could become so close with someone over the internet but when you enjoy the same hobby it makes it easy! I also didn’t realize there were people out there just like me and all about Mustangs”. Danielle is a member of the Silver Mustang Registry, #3850, TAG, #010 and Pretty Little Drivers, #1156. “I had no idea what the car world was all about and I am so thankful to be apart of it. Ford forever, till the day I die! I can’t wait to sell my V6, and move on to bigger and better things. I will own a cammed out ’06 GT next, my mind is set on it. I cannot wait for what the future has in store for me!”
