Images like devils, and other demonic figures are used to sell everything from hockey teams to car parts, with GM embracing the “Blue Devil” moniker with the previous-generation Corvette ZR1. The Blue Devil in this next video is no Corvette, but rather a 2015 Ford Mustang GT packing a Whipple supercharger and enough horsepower for even the most hardcore sinners.
Built by Wheels Boutique and featured in an excellent video from ADV1 Wheels, the Blue Devil Mustang offers 666 sinister horsepower and sounds like the mouth to Hell itself. This is one badass Beelzebub.
The 666 horsepower is backed by 510 lb-ft of torque, and the 2.9 liter Whipple supercharger is supported by a 132mm billet throttle body, 72 lb injectors, a 3.75 inch pulley, and Whipple tune. A Corsa Extreme cat-back exhaust replaces the stock pipes, and the Blue Devil wears BC Racing custom coilovers, APR Performance carbon fiber front splitter, and Nitto NT05 rubber wrapped around ADV005 MV2 CS brushed aluminum wheels.
Though the video comes in at just under 90 seconds long, it’s one of those well-done edits that keeps the action well-paced so that even when it’s over, you find yourself yearning for more. Be careful what you wish for though, because they say that once you hear the Devil’s whistle, it’s already too late.
Would you sell your soul for a ride in the Blue Devil Mustang?
