So you’ve got a 2015 Mustang, and you’re wondering what to upgrade first. MagnaFlow makes it easy, since it now covers all three of the engine options on the pony car: 2.3-liter EcoBoost I4, 3.7-liter V6, and 5.0-liter V8. Axle-back and cat-back configurations both boast increased power and flow, while also lending your ride an exhaust note nobody can resist. See more details below.
Official Release:
The 2015 Mustang is one of the most anticipated American sports cars to hit the market in the last decade. With a new independent rear suspension and three different engine options, this pony car feels equally at home on your favorite canyon road as it does at the drag strip or race track. All of these powerplants now have even more potential thanks to MagnaFlow’s new exhaust systems, available in cat-back and axle-back configurations.
MagnaFlow’s exhaust systems add a smooth, deep tone while increasing exhaust flow and power. These bolt-on kits have been engineered for maximum performance with dyno proven results. MagnaFlow systems reduce backpressure while maintaining a rich, powerful performance tone. Annoying exhaust frequencies are dampened with a dense wall of acoustical absorbing material, and the straight-through design prevents excessive heat retention, allowing the entire system to run cooler and last longer with no restrictions.
Factory tubing for the 2015 V8 application is 2.25 inches. MagnaFlow has been able to free up more power by enlarging the stainless steel tubing to 3 inches, exiting out of 4.5-inch polished tips (diameters vary for other engine applications). These systems are available in a variety of exit designs for the 2015 2.3L EcoBoost (PN 19097, 19179, 19191), the 3.7 V6 (PN 19098, 19099, 19180) and the 5.0L V8-equipped Mustangs (PN 19100, 19101, 19102, 19103).
