Now that the S550 Mustangs have been out and about for a little while, new editions and packages are continuing to emerge. One of those special cars is this Fisker-GAS edition of the 2015 Ford Mustang, the “Ultimate American Muscle Car” according to the Galpin Rocket website.

Henrik Fisker and Galpin Auto Sports (GAS) have teamed up to bring auto enthusiasts this 2015 Ford Mustang build sporting an all-carbon fiber body handmade by Metalcrafters, Inc., a prototype was brought to light at the 2014 Los Angeles Auto Show this past November.

Since the “Rocket” S550 prototype received countless positive responses in L.A., the duo decided to send this sweet carbon fiber Mustang into production. A limited quantity to be made for serious car enthusiasts and collectors.

Dubbed the “Rocket” and pushing out an impressive 725-horsepower, this lightweight coach-built ’15 Mustang will now go into the production stage with the first  model built hitting the Amelia Island Concours d’Elegance on March 14th.

Other features include a “front splitter that works simultaneously with the rear spoiler” and an enlarged rear diffuser, carbon fiber aero skirts for improved downforce at high speeds. Completing the exterior is a set of ADV1 wheels wrapped with Pirelli extreme performance rubber.

We don’t know how many are being produced just yet, but we can’t wait to see one of these fine specimens gracing a car show, track, or event near us in the near future.
