This complete bolt-on kit was designed exclusively for the RS platform and includes an ultra-trick, custom-molded Cross-Linked Polyethylene high-flow intake tube, black anodized aluminum fittings, reinforced silicone couplers, and stainless steel hardware. It completely replaces the stock intake system and features a large diameter high-flow conical shaped eight-layer cotton gauze air filter.

“Along with the large, high-flow conical-shaped filter, the kit features an eight-layer cotton gauze air filter ensuring it will trap more dust and dirt particles than your typical six layer designs,” Steve Sparkman, R&D Technician at Flowmaster, told us.

The Flowmaster Delta Force Cold Air Kit also features soft bumpers to eliminate any metal-to-metal contact under the hood.

During initial testing, the Delta Force Kit saw increases in horsepower and torque by approximately 8 percent on an otherwise-stock 2017 Focus RS and gains as high as up to 15 percent on certain vehicles. Steve was quick to point out that the horsepower gains obtained were from a stock Focus RS and did not include the additional increases that can be had by installing a Flowmaster exhaust system in conjunction with a Delta Force intake.
