What better way is there to highlight your new Total Vehicle System (TVS) than to bring one of our favorite scenes to life, one of which is wearing that TVS? Hotchkis Sport Suspension showed up at SEMA with a recreation scene from the movie Bullitt to their booth. The 1968 Dodge Charger 500 leaping into the air, and the 1968 Mustang GT bringing itself back to earth.

The scene did bring back memories of one of our favorite chase scenes of all time, but there was more to it than a couple of cool classic musclecars. We talked with John Hotchkis to find out what was new for SEMA this year and he pointed out their new TVS for 1964-1/2 to 1966 Mustangs. Unlike many piecemeal components systems that require purchase of several individual components to complete the suspension package, the TVS brings everything you need to bring your classic pony car up to today’s standards.

Hotchkis said, “We love the classic musclecars, and especially love to see them out on the track beating the modern musclecars in the autocross.” He added, “These new kits are designed to make you want to drive your car more often. They’re great for the occasional driver and even daily driven classics, but as a bonus you can take that same car out and run the autocross and kick butt.”

The TVS includes a lightweight tubular steel front bar, a 3-way adjustable rear bar, 0.5-inch drop springs and 1.5-inch drop leaf springs. You can also add a set of Hotchkis tuned shocks to complete the package.
