It’s Mustang Girl Monday brought to you by Team Mustang Girls. This week we would like to introduce Lisa Livers and her 2014 Coyote Mustang.
Lisa’s first car was a 1974 Mercury Cougar XR7 with a 351 Cleveland, and so began her love affair with Ford. During high school instead of taking home-ec she went to school for auto body and mechanics to educate and prepare herself for problems she would face in the real world. Knowing how to bake a batch of delicious cookies is nice, but knowing what to do when you’re stuck on the side of the road is even better.
Since her high school days, Lisa’s owned 10 Mustangs including four LX 5.0 Fox bodys, five SN95 Mustangs, a 2014 Coyote named Valentine because that’s the day her husband gave her the car, and she a few weeks ago added a 2007 Shelby to her list.
Lisa has worked at Valvoline, Champion Ford, and Napa, a career in the auto repair industry that proves the high school shop class she took was an education that payed off. She also runs the group Lethal Mustangs on Facebook to share her passion with other Mustang enthusiasts.
Each week Team Mustang Girls features a different woman and her Mustang. Check out the past featured ladies from Mustang Girl Monday and submit your own Mustang story by messaging the Team Mustang Girls Facebook page.
