Centerforce has released a new clutch system for late-model Mustangs, including the 2011 Mustang GT, capable of handling up to 750 ft/lbs of torque. Utilizing their DYAD DS (Drive System) multi-disc clutch design, the new clutches will handle in excess of 750 ft /lbs of torque and still be driven every day with near-stock pedal feel, smooth engagement and light operation. This makes them the ideal clutch choice for street-driven super and turbocharged vehicles.

The DYAD DS™ Multi-Disc Clutch (PN: 04234805) for the 2011 Mustang GT 5.0L includes a Pressure Plate, Disc Set, Floater, Lightweight Steel Flywheel, and ARP Hardware. and replaces the current 5.0L clutch, disc, and flywheel assembly with a higher holding capacity system, designed for a direct bolt in replacement.
