Meet the science project gone mad. A 2014 5.0 named, “The Hulk”. This bright green creation is the pet project of Sarah Hulkmad Soria, of Florida.
Sarah gained her passion for the Mustang through her husband who enjoys attending car shows. Participating in this pastime with her one and only has helped build a strong bond and relationship through the sharing of a common interest.
Sarah picked up the Hulk this year, with the goal of making her new ride perofrm on and off the track. After a few runs down the drag strip she found a deeper Mustang addiction in her veins. With her new found obsession, the Hulk science project was put in motion.
This explosive lab project began with Sarah dropping in a Ford Racing Crate 5.0 to give this green monster the heart of a beast. Backing up this power and taking it to the next level she next installed a Hellion twin turbo kit and Lethal Performance- QTP electric cutouts with three-inch off road pipe. The end result created a power packed beast with a mean rumble that invokes fear and intimidation in all who challenge the Hulk on the strip.
To further enhance performance, suspension and brakes were revamped. A BMR suspension was swapped in and the Brembo brakes were replaced with stock GT units to accommodate the drag wheels. The S197 brakes were ground down for six hours to allow the drag wheels to fit. Finishing off the Hulk’s creation, Viking double adjustable shocks have been added to this package as well as a recent tune from JPC. This ride is now producing 675 hp and 580 ft-lbs of torque on 9.5 psi with pump gas and 950 hp with 820 ft-lbs on 16 psi.
Now a green behemoth, this 2014 GT is packing a whole lot of rage and strength. Joining the super hero ranks, this beast is a true Avenger. A sleeper in appearance, this green machine is among the elite and will deliver in performance on or off track. When called upon ,”The Hulk”, will rise to the calling and destroy all with a vengeance in an epic battle leaving those watching in awe.
