There aren’t many people on this planet who don’t appreciate the thrill of going fast. Whether it be in a car, motorcycle, or in a jet plane, going fast just feels good. Going fast is also the leading cause of car accidents in America, and excessive speed coupled with poor driving skills on public roads is just a disaster waiting to happen.
Believe it or not, this used to be a Mustang. The owner of the car posted these pictures on the SVT Forums, with the tagline “I Should Be Dead”.
We don’t have any details beyond what the poster of the thread, SVTKorman93, posted. According to him, he was neither drunk nor under the influence of anything besides the love of speed. In his own words, he “was driving like an idiot today and had a very bad crash (not accident).” The car rolled six times through a field he says, and as he wasn’t wearing his seatbelt he was ejected from the car “around thirty feet into the air”. Despite the seriousness of this crash, he managed to hobble away with a broken pinky toe, sprained ankle, and a few cuts and bruises. The EMT’s told him had he been wearing his seatbelt, he’d be dead.
This car used to be a ’96 Mustang convertible converted to a ’96 Cobra with a few light mods and a Saleen body kit. Looks like it used to be a fine ride. Too bad the lust for speed got the better of him. We are glad he wasn’t hurt, and we hope the rest of our readers will remember these pictures next time they think about driving like an idiot.
