Marti Reports are cool little documents that have been around for classic Mustangs of the 60’s and later for a long time now. These reports help you to find out all sorts of cool stuff about your car. When you get the report it will tell you the specific options that the car came with; determining that alone can be a challenge if the car isn’t stock. If your car has been repainted and a restoration is in order, you can even find out the paint code it had originally.
Some of the coolest details these reports provide though have to do with production. You find out exactly how many Mustangs made that year had that paint code, paint/trim code, and other things. In short, you can find out just how rare the car actually is. It also runs down when the car was scheduled, built, sold, and more. If you’re like me, the Mustangs you covet are the ones that were popular when you were just getting ready to drive.
The Mustangs that everyone wanted back in high school in my day were the Fox bodies. Back in May, these reports became available for early Fox body Mustangs running from 1980 to 1986. Now those with later Foxes can get the same info on their rides. Marti Reports is now offering reports for 1987 to 1993 ‘Stangs. The reports are also available for all other Ford, Lincoln and Mercury vehicles in that same year range.
