Horrible New Edge Saleen Mustang Crash Involving Two Teens

Crashes are all too common, especially with easy access to faster cars. Anything can happen out there on the road, whether it’s mechanical failure, crossing animals, disabled vehicles – there are so many potential road hazards. Speeding excessively can cause loss of control of any vehicle, especially for the young and inexperienced. It doesn’t matter what you drive, there is only so much impact any car can take.

People need to be more aware and alert of their surroundings while out driving. Yeah, sometimes the speed limit sucks, especially when you’re running a little tad for work or school and it seems like the flow of traffic is working against you. Understandable, but one day when you’re on your commute and see something like this, it will change your day. What if one day that WAS you?

This is what’s left of a Saleen New Edge Mustang after the driver lost control, hit a utility poll and a tree before rolling over and hitting another tree. Police say that speed was a factor in this crash. In the news video, it shows that the speed limit was only 35 mph.

It’s a sad reminder that life can be taken away in a blink of an eye. This unnecessary crash involved two recent high school grad students. The passenger is in critical condition at the hospital after being extricated. The other teen driver did not make it after being ejected during the crash while not wearing a seatbelt.

Truth be told, a Saleen Mustang is a prize car, especially for a 19 year old boy. Flaunting was probably ranked high on the list of car and a teenage guy with a flashy car usually ends up with testing the limits of the V8. It’s sad that this happened no matter the circumstances.

Thoughts are with the two recent high school grads and their families that are living through this whole thing right now.
