We’ve all been at that local car show where people insist on pulling out and laying a set of fresh tracks on the asphalt during their “grand” exit. In this driver’s case, the saying that all’s well that ends well doesn’t really apply. His Cobra Replica seems to light the tires up pretty simply, as there are smiles on the face of the driver and passenger, but not long after the tire-spin commences, things begin to get out of hand. 

All of that big-block power comes on pretty hard at a low RPM, meaning that maintaining control is of the utmost importance, and the driver just doesn’t seem to have it. From what we can see it doesn’t look like anything really goes wrong with the car,, but for some reason it quickly squirts to the left, up a hill, and smashes into something else. We can’t tell if there’s something on the lawn that gets in his way or he actually smashes into the Tahoe that’s up on the hill. Regardless, a fair amount of damage had to have been done to not only the nose of the car but also the undercarriage. It’s a shame, really, as the car appears to be a quality example of the Cobra kit-cars that are out there, and we’d be willing to bet that this driver regrets his decision to smack the loud pedal. In fact, we’d bet that thought went through his mind as soon as the car started to veer off course. Low-riding Cobras aren’t really designed for off-roading.
