Though the Ford Focus ST has only been on the market for a few months, the automotive aftermarket has wasted no time in responding with promises of performance modifications. Yet tuning and making parts for the new 2.0 liter EcoBoost engine will take some time…but there are avenues for modifying your factory-fresh Focus ST.
Motorward reports that Austrian Tuner MS Design has released a new exterior upgrade package for the 2013 Ford Focus ST that takes the hot hatch from dealership darling to street racer with a few well-placed modifications.
Because the Focus ST is so new, there is a limited availability of aftermarket parts for it right now. So MS Design got creative, using a mixture of new parts and blacked-out OEM parts to create a dramatic effect. The front lip, side skirts, and backend all get blacked out in the pursuit of a badass look…and it works.
MS Design will also include a graphics package if that is your cup of tea. Combine that with available suspension and performance packages, and you could turn this hot hatch into a real standout ride with just a few modifications.
Tell us, do you like the MS Design Focus ST? Or do you prefer Ford’s factory look instead?
