Racing video games have come a long way since the days of Cruis’n USA, and Forza Motorsport 6 is one of the most accurate and socially-integrated racing simulations on the market. Available only on the Xbox One, Forza Motorsport 6 comes with a litany of monthly challenges that earn you in-game points to spend on new cars and downloadable content. But this month the prize is a lot more real than just virtual game points.

By completing one of the “Monthly Rivals” challenges, Xbox One gamers have a chance to win a well appointed 2016 Ford Mustang GT. Who says video games can’t pay the bills?

This particular online challenge requires gamers to pilot a 2016 Shelby GT350R around a virtual rendition of the Watkins Glen race track. The 12 gamers with the fastest last times by November 15th in the Monthly Rivals section of the game will be flown to Los Angeles two a two-night stay with a friend, given $250 in spending cash, before the final round of competition.

The 12 drivers will then compete in head-to-head races in Forza Motorsport 6 until a winner is crowned. The grand prize, a 2016 Ford Mustang GT valued at $35,000, will be ordained upon the fastest racer. This is just the latest Ford integration with Forza Motorsport 6, as the automaker has already built a custom Focus RS for the game, and its new GT supercar graces the cover art. Ford has been making a bigger effort to recruit gamers to its brand, and giving away a Mustang GT is one way to build loyalty towards the Blue Oval.
