Ford Motor Company just released the ad for the 2013 Ford Mustang and has the Mustang community buzzing all over different social networking sites. Ford’s Blue Oval marketing team released the video via YouTube, Facebook, and Google Plus and the plan is to air it officially during the Daytona 500 race on Sunday.
The commercial, called “Mustang Inner TV”, plays off of the Mustang customization tool that was released last fall where anybody can go online to build and customize the Mustang of their dreams. The commercial features a new 2013 Mustang driving through the busy streets of a city (looks like L.A.) while various onlookers watch it transform into their ideal Mustang. At the very end, a little girl sees Barbie-pink Mustang that transforms into the new stealthy black Shelby already known to put out 650 horses.
The 2013 Mustang has received some changes from last year such as a redesigned grille, smaller headlights, new LED taillights, and different optional packages. One of the different options that you can order for your pony is the lights that projects the running pony logo beside the car, lighting up beside the car like some sort of Mustang-like bat signal. More options include Performance Meter gauges, hill-start assist, and manual shift controls for the auto transmission. Also, Brembo Brake and V6 Performance packages will be offered for the automatic Mustang. Who said that automatics can’t be fun? As they say in the commercial, Everyone has an inner Mustang. Unleash yours.
Now tell us, what do you think of the new 2013 Ford Mustang commercial? What about the new 2013 Mustang changes in general? The times, they are a’changing.
