The 2018 Mustang online configurator is set to launch on July 25, so mark your calendars so you can start building and pricing your dream ’Stang.
In addition to promoting the 2018 Mustang by releasing an Orange Fury ice cream sandwich, Ford let out a bit of news with that announcement. The online configurator for the forthcoming Mustang will launch soon, so if you are ready to order an ’18, you won’t have to wait much longer to virtually spec one out.
“To explore customization opportunities for 2018, Mustang fans will be able to build and price their very own pony car by visiting www.ford.com/mustang/2018 starting July 25,” says Ford. “The 2018 Mustang is due to reach showrooms this fall.”
So far we’ve gotten a closer look at the Pony Package and line lock for the EcoBoost Mustangs, but we can’t wait to see and learn more about the available options and features.
In recent weeks we have learned a few things about the next Mustang by way of both leaks and official announcements. When the configurator goes live, we are sure to learn a few more details, like pricing specifics and option-package compatibility.
It will certainly be great fun to spec out a Mustang just how you’d like it and see how much it will cost. However, we suspect that some of the juicy details — like official power ratings — will be kept under wraps until closer to the actual launch, but you never know.
