Performance Friction Brakes (PFC) is known for many things, including being the exclusive provider of braking components for the all-new 727 horsepower 2017 ROUSH P-51 Mustang.

When it came to the development of the ROUSH P-51 Mustang, PFC Brakes was thrilled to be a part of the project, “which has been crowned the most powerful muscle car on the planet,” PFC said.

“While the OEM components are highly respectable for their thermal capacity and performance, this build was going to require a few tweaks to ensure optimum performance.”

However, that development transferred directly to its braking components available for the 2015-2017 Mustang GT (pictured above). Its front rotor and pad package saves a total of 34.3 pounds of unsprung weight, while the rear rotor and pad kit comes in at 17.3 pounds. Both packages consists of PFC’s new “CarbonMetallic” brake pads, paired with its “V3 ZeroFailures” rotors.
