To date, the 2013-14 GT500 Mustangs are the most powerful factory Fords ever constructed. These cars are and will remain legendary, and it’s fitting that this was the last Mustang that Carroll Shelby was able to see and watch in action to bear his name.

It seems however, that GT500s are everywhere. So how do you set yours apart? If you’re Anthony Cervantez you camo-wrap it. Cevantez owns a business that wraps cars and performs other services. We caught up with him at the Fab Fords Forever show at Knotts Berry farm a few weeks ago and had to check out his unusual looking GT500.

Cervantez says he’s owned the car now for about 6 months. He hasn’t performed any performance improvements yet, but those are in the works now that he has the appearance standing out. “I like the classic model Mustangs, but the older [more recent] ones I wasn’t into until the ’13-’14 GT500 came out. I really like the way these look” he says.

The car does have an upgrade to some sweet looking suede seat inserts. Cervantez says mods on the short list include a new supercharger pulley, long tube headers, and a tune. He’s also running around on Mickey Thompson drag radials. He either knows that from the factory the GT500 is a beast and needs some traction help, or he isn’t being totally straight with us on his car’s power output right now.

Love it or hate it, this car stands out. We’ll be keeping our eyes open to see what this car is putting down in the future.
