Big E-Force TVS Gains Over 200 HP On An S550 Auto

I am really surprised about the efficiency of the new 2650 supercharger. — Brent White, Brenspeed

As we recently shared with you, Edelbrock engineers planned ahead when developing the company’s line of E-Force superchargers. They built the systems with highly efficient dual-pass intercoolers suited to work with the larger Eaton R2650 rotorpack, which recently joined the E-Force family.

The crew at Brenspeed recently tested the Stage 1 E-Force kit (PN 15865), with its companion, 50-state-legal calibration, on an automatic 2016 Mustang GT. The results were quite impressive.

Brenspeed recently tested the Edelbrock E-Force 2650 TVS supercharger system on an automatic 2016 Mustang GT with impressive results.

“I was really surprised, when I looked at the graphs, at the power this made, and I am really surprised about the efficiency of the new 2650 supercharger,” Brent White, President of Brenspeed, enthused.

The car baselined with 364.0 horsepower and 352.47 lb-ft of torque at the rear wheels. After adding the 2.65-liter E-Force TVS blower it put down 576.14 horsepower and 497.93 lb-ft of torque at the wheels. That’s an impressive gain of 212.09 horsepower and 145.46 lb-ft of torque.
