New from Aviaid – the Dry Sump System For 5.0L Ford Coyote. This system is designed to provide ample lubrication under the most severe racing conditions. See more details below.
Official Release:
Aviaid, the company that’s been building race-winning lubrication system for Fords since the days of the LeMans-winning GT 40 and Shelby Cobras, has developed a highly efficient dry sump package for Ford 5.0L DOHC Coyote engines.
A far cry from the systems of yesteryear, this latest engineering achievement from Aviaid features an extra low profile CNC-machined billet aluminum oil pan that can be equipped with up to five scavenge ports. The slim pan provides exceptional ground clearance while providing ample lubrication under the most severe racing conditions. Reduction of power-robbing windage is another dry sump system benefit.
Shown is a 4-stage Aviaid Series 1 pump with three active scavenging sections plus a pressure section with an attached regulator. This configuration is appropriate for a large number of competition and street applications, although bigger 5-stage and 6-stage pumps are available for extreme use. Fabricated oil pans are also an option.
Configuring systems to fit most any vehicle is Aviaid’s specialty, with mounts available for everything from Mustangs and F-150s to over 30 “universal” brackets. Systems are available with 6″, 7.5″ and 9″ wide tanks of varying capacities, remote filter mounts, drives and ATI Super Dampers.
