Centerforce Dual Friction Clutch For 26 Spline Coyote Mustangs

The new Coyote Mustangs have reached levels of popularity that hasn’t been sen since the OHV 5.0L V8 from the ’80s. Enthusiast flock to these things they they’re going out of style, and they need a clutch that will handle the abuse that they’re going to be throwing at them. That’s why Centerforce has released these dual friction clutches for those enthusiasts running a 26 spline transmission to hold the extra power.

The Dual Friction series are high-performance, street friendly, single-disc clutches. This series is now available for 2011 Ford Mustang 5.0L/302” 32 valve 8 cyl engines w/ 6 speed 26 spline aftermarket transmissions. The Dual Friction part number above is: DF148500 (Pressure Plate, Disc, Alignment Tool, Bleed Kit, Bolts, & Dowel Pins).

The Centerforce Dual Friction pressure plates feature our patented processes to provide a performance clutch that offers exceptional street characteristics, while offering outstanding holding-capacity and durability. The Dual Friction disc has a full facing on the pressure plate side for drivability and longevity, and a carbon composite puc style (segmented) facing is used on the flywheel side for a positive engagement and increased holding-capacity.  Dual Friction is the ultimate in street/strip holding power and performance without sacrificing pedal effort and driver control.
